Getting ready for 2015!!

Hi, me again, 3rd blog post, is anybody even reading?
Well anyway, having no plans yet for new years I've not had time to sort out a new years eve outfit! STRESS!
But its okay I'm sure I have something in my wardrobe still with the tag on. Anyway, I've been looking on clothes websites all night and found a few things I'm completely in love with! Looking at my 3 favorite websites; NewlookRiver Island and Missguided.
I've noticed 'Barely there' heels, backless ballerina straps and sequins are in this time around!
Last year I wore a T-Shirt/Shift dress from bank, my favorite outfit because it was so comfy!

But these are the links to the dresses/outfits/accessories that I have found.
Take a look and buy some! (P.s. some of these items are on sale so quick buy before they go!!)
Clothes aside, I've decided to make a jar for the new year and put in all the exciting stuff that happens in 2015 then read them back on new years eve next year. I actually got this idea from interest, take a look at my page here!
I've also started writing a list for my new years resolution which involves going to the gym/working out more, my grandad gave me a guitar not so long ago so I aim to be able to play that by this time next year, to get another or a new job and also to grow my hair out and stop dying it so it is all one length and my natural colour!
Thats my aim, even if my hair is dead straight and the model is absolutely gorgeous!
Take a look at this, I found it on pinterest and set yourself goals using it...
I'll leave you to think about that and on that note I'm off to my happy place (bed).

Goodnight :) xxxx

Fur Lined Doc Martens.

Hello again, to whoever is reading! How have we been? Piling on pounds from the amount of left over Christmas dinner sandwiches you've shamelessly scoffed?
Anyway, I thought I'd share with you one of my favorite presents that I mentioned in my last post. My brand new Doc Martens.
I cant explain to you how much I love them, they are just amazing.
I am one of them weird people that are ALWAYS cold, especially my hands and feet. Its like my blood circulation doesn't even come close to reaching them! So these Fur Lined beauties are here to help me! At a retail price of £110, they are well worth what they cost! They are mega comfy and actually haven't given me a single blister like I expected.
So anyway, yesterday I went for a mooch around the Luton Mall, at the boxing day sales, I will be sharing what I bought in another post later on this week! But I bought myself a dark green jumper dress from new look, which I wore with tights and my new favorite boots. Looked fab, didnt actually get any pictures (bad blogger i'm sorry, i'm new gimme a break) but I did manage to make a similar outfit to what I wore on Polyvore.com
I make daily sets on there, so go ahead and take a look.
Short but sweet post, so i'm done here. Thanks for reading! Goodnight. x

There's a first time for everything.

Hiya!
Finally sitting down with Aaron (my better half) after a very busy and tiring Christmas!
Being poorly with the flu on Christmas Eve did not help the preparation of the events that were to take place the next day, the house needed to be cleaned, the sausage rolls needed to be rolled and tried to see if they were tasty enough, and the cakes and sponges needed to be baked. 24 hours in a day is 100% not enough when it comes to this time of the year, but I am very proud of myself for not leaving it till last minute to order and buy presents. Its an understatement saying that my purse now hates me for how much I spent.
I. AM. BROKE.
But Christmas day was a smooth success! Being the only child in the house its just partial that I woke up my step-mum and dad at 8 o'clock. And to be quite honest that's late for me! I am such a child when it comes to Christmas morning, I'm 17, I really need to grow up.
So anyway, my parents bought me a beautiful pair of matte black, fur lined Doc Martens. They did good, my mum bought me a laptop, and like the boots it is bloody gorgeous... So, I thought I'd make the most of it and start a blog.
I am so grateful for the gifts I receive (I am also grateful for the person who discovered Yorkshire Puddings and Pigs In Blankets!!!)
After I was finished with my family I made my way to Aaron's, to then later find myself playing monopoly... Which lasted THREE whole hours! Boy, the Burke's are very competitive! I am probably the worst at the game... I was the first person to be made money-less and that was only one hour in.
My favorite day of the three is Boxing Day! Why?
Because of Boxing Day Sales, of course! (another blog post will be posted tomorrow showing you some of my many bargains... including the cute little number I bought from TK Maxx for £6! Amazing!!!)
But after I shopped till I almost dropped, I found me and Aaron at my Auntie Linda's eating more pork pies and turkey sandwiches than our bodies could handle.
Christmas is always so lovely, the atmosphere is nice and everyone is happy, seeing the look on peoples faces when they open their presents is also such a invigorating feeling. Spending the day with family you hardly ever have time to see anymore, and sharing smiles with the ones you see everyday! Merry Christmas everyone!
P.S. I'm new give me a break haha. :)
